What are easy, healthy (but not scary) meals a teenager can make for herself?

I'm 16 years old and I have a single dad who is a work-a-holic (not tht thts bad I am too) but he doesn't have time to cook and I don't even know what to ask him to cook. I'm dead tired of my same chicken alfredo, pop tarts, pizza, bagel routine. Its really hard because I'm super picky but Im sick of my foods and I need some help to make some things that are a little better for me not crazy health nut better but a step in that direction. preferably things i can make for myself or something easy my dad can make. Please help!
