What transmissions will work in a 1997 automatic Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GST?

I'm asking this for my boyfriend, so I can't give you much detail other than what is in the title. His transmission went out a few weeks ago, and he isn't sure which transmissions would be compatible. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
