Will kenwood kfc-6960ie speakers fit in the back of my 1997 mitsubishi eclipse gs-t?

So i have kenwood kfc-6960ie speakers 6x9's. The rear space of my 97 eclipse gst hardtop is also 6x9, will they fit? Only reason i'm asking is because i was checking on one of those online "does it fit" programs and it said will not fit. NEED HELP PLZ ASAP! My rear speaker are blown and need to replace ASAP!
