My dog is due have puppies any day. I'm also pregnant (17 wks). Am i ok around my dog during her labour?

Am i ok around her and am i ok to assist in the labour if she needs and help? She has been wormed, up to date on all her jabs ect. She is a clean, tidy dog that lives inside all the time.
